**SCMHS Wins GASSP Distinguished Breakout School Award**
We are thrilled to announce that Seminole County Middle/High School (SCMHS) has been named the **GASSP Distinguished Breakout School** for high school! This prestigious recognition highlights our school’s commitment to excellence and the positive strides we have made in student achievement, school culture, and community engagement.
As part of the process leading to this honor, Mrs. Albritton and Dr. Fulford had the privilege of presenting at the **GASSP (Georgia Association of Secondary School Principals) Conference** in Savannah, GA, after being named a Breakout School earlier this year. During their presentation, they shared valuable insights and strategies that have contributed to the success of our school. Their work showcased how we are transforming our learning environment to better meet the needs of our students and foster a culture of success.
This award is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and collaboration of our entire school community. We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has contributed to our journey of excellence. We look forward to using this honor as a springboard to achieve even greater success in the future!

A Big Thank You to Our Supporters!
We are thrilled to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mrs. Megan Heaphy and Georgia BioEd Institute for the generous donation of personal protective equipment (PPE) to Seminole County Middle High School. This contribution is incredibly valuable, as it ensures our students have the necessary safety gear for a variety of lab experiments, enhancing their hands-on learning experiences in the classroom.
Thank you to Mrs. Jennifer Hand at Southwest Georgia RESA for her incredible effort in organizing the delivery of these supplies. Your dedication to our community has made a significant impact, and we are truly grateful for your support.
With this donation, our students can continue exploring the exciting world of science and biotechnology safely. Thank you, Georgia BioEd Institute and Southwest Georgia RESA, for investing in the future of our young scientists!
