The 2023-24 Yearbook Supplement is Here!
The additional pages of the yearbook that include all spring sports and events have arrived, so if you purchased a yearbook, be sure to get your copy and “continue watching”!!
Class of 2024 – you may pick up your copy in the front office.
All other students that purchased a yearbook can get their copy at open house or see Mrs. Touchton during the first few days of school.
If you did not purchase a yearbook, we have 10 available. Books are $50 each. Contact Mrs. Touchton – kathryn.touchton@seminole.k12.ga.us
That's a wrap for the Seminole County School System's Literacy Bus this summer! Be on the lookout for special appearances during the 2024-25 school year. Thank you again to everyone who made this literacy-based outreach possible!
Middle School baseball practice has been canceled today. The Varsity baseball game scheduled for today has been canceled as well.
The Literacy Bus will only make one stop at the lake tomorrow. We will be at Spring Creek Volunteer Fire Department from 1:00 to 2:00.
Due to mechanical issues, the Literacy Bus will unfortunately not be available today. We hope to resume our schedule next week.
Please check the schools' websites for updates before meeting the bus next week.

The SCMHS Community is invited to show their Seminole Pride in the 2024 SCHS football program!
Deadline to reserve your spot with payment is July 12.
Photos and graphics for ads may be submitted up until July 19.

Attention Seniors and Senior Parents:
Wednesday, May 22nd is a very busy day! Please make sure your Seniors are checking their student emails for specific information. Graduation practice is at 12:30 PM sharp. Seniors need to bring their cap and gown for the Elementary walkthrough as soon as practice is over. Once we return, we will give out tickets. Baccalaureate service at the Donalsonville Church of God is at 6:00 PM. Seniors need to be there by 5:45 PM. Do not wear your cap to this service. We look forward to celebrating this success with you!
The Spring Scrimmage football game has been moved up due to the weather. The team will play around 5:00. There will be no charge to attend.
Middle school tennis tryouts, scheduled for tomorrow, have been cancelled. If students are interested in trying out for tennis please be ready to try out this fall.
Join us under the Friday Night Lights for the varsity football Green and White Scrimmage this Friday, May 17th, at 7:00 pm! Tickets are $3.00 and will be sold at the gate.
Attention to all 8th-grade students who have registered for the GA Tours trip or are interested in going: there will be a meeting this Thursday, May 16th at 5:30 in the cafeteria. Please be prepared to pay the $150 deposit at the meeting. Thank you.
Senior Signing Day is Friday, May 17th at 1:30 PM in the gymnasium. Parents are welcome to attend and need to report straight to the gymnasium to be seated. Please check with your Senior to make sure they have submitted the information needed for this event.
Our State Champion Boy’s Tennis Team should be arriving at the school by roughly 10:15 tonight. Please come out to the school parking lot to welcome them home and help them celebrate this outstanding achievement!

Dear 8th Grade Parents,
As the academic year is coming to an end, we would like to celebrate the completion of the 8th-grade milestones and middle school with an 8th-grade parent-hosted breakfast. The event will be held on Thursday, May 16th, at 8:30 am in the Senior Cafeteria. We would like to invite all parents who would like to help or volunteer to set up, provide cooked food, or help serve our students to contact Mrs. Cannon at amy.cannon@seminole.k12.ga.us. We will also attach a list of items that we are planning to serve, but please feel free to suggest your favorite breakfast items. We would like to make this event a special occasion for our 8th graders as we prepare to send them off to high school next year. Your participation and help are highly appreciated, and we look forward to hearing from you soon!
