Seminole County Middle High School

The Georgia Department of Education has recognized schools with exceptional achievement in mathematics as Math Leader Schools. This award honors schools that demonstrated significant growth in the percentage of students scoring at the Proficient Learner level or above in mathematics, particularly in fifth and eighth grades. A total of 624 schools received this designation, reflecting their commitment to implementing Georgia's new K-12 Mathematics Standards. State School Superintendent Richard Woods will visit some of these schools this fall to congratulate them on their accomplishments, highlighting the importance of numeracy skills for students' futures.
