As we begin another school year, I am thrilled to share the many wonderful things happening across our district. Your dedication and hard work are truly paying off, and there’s so much to celebrate!
1. Academic Excellence and Growth Our students are achieving new heights! We’ve seen remarkable growth in test scores, and attendance rates are on the rise. Our AP scores have also shown significant improvement, reflecting the hard work and commitment of both our students and educators. The graduation rate continues to improve.
2. Expanding Opportunities We are excited about the new classes and programs being introduced this year. These additions are designed to enrich our students’ learning experiences and better prepare them for their future endeavors.
3. Global Connections Our German Exchange Program has been a tremendous success, fostering cultural exchange and broadening the horizons of our students. This initiative continues to be a point of pride for our district.
4. Building for the Future Construction for our new K-12 facility is progressing well and is expected to be ready by January 2026. This new space will provide enhanced learning opportunities and give our students and teachers a safe and clean learning environment.
5. Continuing Success A special congratulations to Seminole County High School for winning the Director’s Cup for the fourth consecutive year! This achievement is a testament to the outstanding dedication and performance of our students, coaches, and staff.
6. College and Career Readiness Our readiness scores on the CCPRI are showing promising improvements, ensuring that our students are well-prepared for their post-secondary journeys.
These accomplishments are a result of the collective effort of our students, staff, families, and community members. As we move forward, I am confident that we will continue to build on these successes and reach even greater heights.
Thank you for your ongoing support and commitment to our schools. Here’s to a fantastic year ahead!
