The Lady Indians took the field in a roar during Wednesday’s game against their region rival, The Miller County Lady Pirates. Brooklyn Bryan toed the rubber with confidence in her 5 inning, complete game appearance. Bryan Allowed three hits, one run, one walk, and struck out five. Behind Bryan, the Lady Indians defense was solid! 

The Lady Indian bats were hot from start to finish. Kendall Denham led the day as she singled in the first, second, and fourth innings as well as doubled in the fifth inning. Along with Denham’s hot bat followed Kennadi Jones who collected the first two RBI’s of the game as well as got the game ending RBI. The Lady Indians collectively had 14 hits on the night scoring 9 runs in a 9-1 run ruled game. Jillian Johnson, Kendall Denham, Kennadi Jones, MacKenzie Rigdon, Sara Grace Alexander, Railey Turner, Zyi’Kiera King, Sara Jo Fain, and April Williams battled well at the plate doing their part to ensure a victory. All members of The Lady Indians celebrate this TEAM win, and look forward to continuing their season as they face their next region opponents!
